Dishwalla, Tonic, Vertical Horizon

We had to stand outside in the freezing cold, and rainy weather, but it was so worth it. Once we were in the building, Andrew got us beers and I got us a spot close to the stage. We were three rows away from the stage. The first act was Dishwalla. They played all their hit such as, “Counting Blue Cars.” Also, they played some songs that I once heard on “Smallville.” Next to us was a girl that went to the Under the Sun tour and was next to us at that concert as well. We exchanged numbers and are now facebook friends and concert buddies.

Vertical Horizon was next. They came on and they did all their hits, such as, “Your a God”, and “Everything You Want.” plus some new ones as well. The lead singer of Vertical Horizon, Matt introduces the song “I’m still here” the same way every concert it seems. He said, that he wrote this song on a 102-degree fever. I shouted out the name of the song which was, “I am still here.” He asked me my name. I told him it was “Danielle.” He said, “This song is for Danielle.” I was like, “ahh oh my God!” I jumped up and down. The lead singer is gorgeous! Throughout the song and the rest of the concert, the lead singer smiled at me and I thought for sure I earned a guitar pick to add to our collection, but I didn’t get one. I did, however, get a song dedicated to me! 🙂 I had so much fun!

After Vertical Horizon, Tonic came on and they played their hits such as, “You wanted More” and they played other songs too some I was familiar with others not so much. I was so hyped up for Vertical Horizon and that was it.
