Root Canal #2

This afternoon, I had a dentist appointment. I had to get a root canal at 2pm. Drew was off today due to the fact that it was Martin Luther King Day so he was able to be there for me. When I arrived to my appointment, they took me straight back. The Dentist numbed me in my cheek, the roof of my mouth. He told me that the one on the roof of my mouth will hurt a bit. I called him a sadist. I don’t think he liked that very much, but whatever I hate needles. I had a lot of them over the past couple days.
During the procedure, he realized he couldn’t complete the root canal and had to send me to an endodontist to complete the procedure. I was in so much pain, and I was a little light headed. The endodontist in North Hills could fit me in their schedule at 10:45am tomorrow. I went to the checkout desk and they wrote me out a script for Vicodin with the pain, and told me to keep taking the antibiotics. Drew said he would send Chad and Bill an e-mail today and let them know that he needs off work tomorrow, so he could be there for me. I thought that was so sweet. I wanted him there, more than I wanted my mom. We stopped at Giant Eagle to drop off the prescription and then we went to Burger King to get me a milkshake. Drew felt bad for me with all that I was going through.
Once we got the prescription, we went home. I laid on the couch with him and relaxed all night. I was so thankful that he was there for me. When the numbness wore off. I was uncomfortable and had to take some pain pills in order to sleep.
