Rainy Day

This morning, we were slow to get up. It was going to be a rainy day today, so we just planned to lay low. I made pancakes for breakfast. We didn’t really have anything planned today. We decided to get out for a bit, so we went to Target to buy two lamps, and get some more ideas to help improve our little town home. We seem to agree on the same things, when it comes to how we want to decorate.

After Target we went to the mall, we put a payment on the ring that I want for my right hand. I am so spoiled. I want diamonds on both hands. I can’t wait to get it. Rudy, the jeweler inspected my wedding rings, and he said, I needed a rhodium dip. I just got one done before we got married, but I guess you have to do it every couple years, so the white gold rings, don’t turn yellow. He asked us to drop it off on Tuesday, before we got a July 4th cookout. We will add that to our to-do list.

After we left the jewelry store, we stopped at this new store called the Home Collection. Their store is in the same space as Abercrombie and Fitch. We decided to check it out. The mall needed a home sore. When we walked in, you could still smell the Fierce cologne. The store was nice. A lot of high end furniture. The decor was really girly. I liked it, but it still looked like Abercrombie.

After the mall, we went to Chik-fil-a. I never saw that place so busy before. We were lucky to get a booth, so I grabbed us a seat and Drew ordered our food. They brought it to you, when it was ready, so you didn’t have stand at the counter and wait for it. After we finished eating, we left and went home. I think we had enough errands today. I could go to Walmart later on in the week. We could grocery shop tomorrow, as well.

When we got home, we laid around and watched television. We decided to take an hour nap. When we woke up, we got ready to go to dinner. We were going to the Industry Pub to celebrate my new position. I put on a dress, and some heels for dinner. It felt good to get all dressed up.

When we arrived at the Industry Pub, we were seated by the windows, and it seemed to be like the old people section. We felt so old. We wanted to be where the bar was, so we asked to move, and they were happy to accommodate us. They moved us to a high top table, by the bar. Now we felt like we were part of the party. Drew started out with a smoked whiskey, and he congratulated me on my position. I had a Magic Hat #9. I had two Magic Hats. Drew had a magic hat, as well, then a crown reserve, and lastly a Yuengling. We were there to celebrate. After two magic hats, I knew I had enough. For an appetizer we split this huge pretzel.
