Dinner and Blue Moon

After work, I went home was able to see Andrew for a bit, before he left to go to Ben and Tricia’s. When he left, I got a shower, and put on some chill clothes and waited for Anthony to let me know what the plan was. He was still at work around 7:30pm and was trying to get out of there quickly. The plan was for him to pick up the take out and wine, bring it to my house, and then we would just hang out here for the night.  Well, he called me around 8pm and told me that he is just now on his way home and wants to get home and get a shower. I said, “Okay, well lets just go out.” He said, “Okay, do you want me to just swing by and pick you up. You can hang out while I shower?” I said, “Yea, I will be ready when you get here.” I went upstairs changed into jeans and a nice top, and then went back downstairs.

When he arrived I went outside, and got in the backseat. Dylan was with him. He left his car at Anthony’s, they went to Kennywood last night, and Dylan just spent the night at Anthony’s. When we got to Anthony’s, Dylan laid on the couch. I made coffee, and Anthony got in the shower. I hung out with Dylan for a bit, while waiting for Anthony to get out of the shower. I felt bad not inviting Dylan out with us, but at the same time he hung out with Anthony last night. Anthony and I needed some girl time.

When Anthony was finally ready, we said goodbye to Dylan and then we went to PF Changs. I said, we are the trendy modern couple going to eat at 9pm at night.” He laughed. The hostess put us in this corner booth. We totally looked like we were on a date. We moved toward the center of the booth and took some pictures. It was funny. We ordered our wine and lettuce wraps.

Dinner was amazing, and the conversation was scandalous. It always is when we get together. After dinner, we were on the way back to my house, when I looked at him and said, “Should we go out, or should we go home?” He said, “Let’s go out.” We cranked up the music and we were off to the Blue Moon. It was tear away night. I said, oh okay, what is tear away night? Where the drag queens tear off articles of clothing. I said, “Oh okay.”

When we walked into the Blue Moon, it was a bit packed, but Anthony warned me it could get even more packed. We were able to get a seat a the bar, and I stood up against the bar, so I could see better. I was practically almost sitting on the bar. Anthony bought me a beer, and I was planning on probably sticking to beer for the rest of the night.

While we were at the Blue Moon, we ran into Carrie. Anthony and Carrie aren’t as close as they used to be, which is probably a good thing. She did come over and talk to us, and gave me a hug. The drama has nothing to do with her and I. She stood with us throughout the show.

At one point in the show, Bambi Dearest, the host and drag queen. Asked the crowd, “Where are my gay men tonight?” the crowd whoo hooed. Then she asked, “Where are my lesbians?”, “Bisexuals?” Trans?” “Straight women?” I screamed. She said, “Wow that sounded like a dog whistle.” She said, “Where are my straight men? You know where you are.” We all laughed.

Throughout the show, I took pictures and videos and gossiped with Anthony. It was so fun. I did have one more drink, a Malibu Barbie. It was so yummy.  When the show was over, it was like 1:30am. Anthony looked at me and said, “I am ready when you are.” I said, “okay. Lets go.” We walked to the car and tried to figure out the plan for the rest of the night. He wasn’t sure if he was going to stay, or if I was going to stay at his place. I said, “I wanted my bed.” He said, “Well I want my bed.” We both laughed.

On the way home, we sang at the top of our lungs and took videos, like old times. When we arrived at my house, we hung out on the couch and played some music, and hopped on Facebook Live. We had so much fun talking and being random. When he left to go home, it was like 3:30am and I had to work in the morning.
