This morning, I got up around 8:30am. I got a shower and dressed. I left the house and went to my parents to see my dogs and see my parents.
Around 10:45am, we left for the nail salon. I drove us to Bella’s Nails. We were the first ones there. I sat in the pedicure chair. I was getting a pedicure, and a gel full-set on my nails. I know what you are thinking, I am not going to keep them on! However, I intend to for as long as I can. I don’t have class again until August (outside of my summer class, but that is online). The pedicure was amazing. I got the works I needed it (hot stone massage, hot towel treatment, etc.) My mom just got a simple manicure.
After the nail place, I drove my mom back to my house where we hung out with Drew until my dad came over and it was time to get dinner on the table. Drew’s parents could not attend, they were on the way home from Erie. Megan graduated yesterday.
Around 3pm I started dinner, it was so involved. My parents hung out at the ding room table and watched us prep for dinner. My mom said, “You two work so well together.” I smiled and said, “we typically do.” We get a long really well. Of course we have our set backs and things that we need to work on, but when it comes to working together in the kitchen, or decorating we do it without arguments.
Dinner was served around 4:30pm, it was so nice. My dad even tried spinach! He ate everything on his plate. I was so proud of him. After dinner, I cleaned up some little by little. It is a lot to let sit. I put the left overs away. I also played Mario Kart with my mom and dad. My dad used to play Mario Kart with me growing up on the Super Nintendo.
They left around 7pm. Drew finished cleaning up. We split up the work it seemed. It is a lot to clean up after. We got ready for another week ahead. I had just a quick, but amazing weekend!
