This morning, I posted my original discussion post for my online class. The original post is due by Friday 6/28. The post is based on Neil Postman’s novel The End of Education. I liked Postman. It was an interesting read. I wanted to get my discussion post submitted early and stay ahead of the game. I am going to start reading the next book, which is called Seeking Common Ground Public Schools in a Diverse Society by David Tyack. The discussion post for Tyack isn’t due until next week, but I will start it this weekend after I finish the book. I also want to start writing the first draft of our paper that is due next weekend, as well.
After work, I went to the gym and it was packed in there. It wasn’t that comfortable in there either temperature wise. I did the treadmill for a mile, then did some strength training and called it a night.
When I got home, I made my sausage keto stuffed peppers, and got a shower, then put on some pjs and watched The Handmaid’s Tale. Season 3 is everything so far! I am so hooked. This episode had me shook to the core!
Spoiler Alert: I am going to talk a little bit about the episode. I really don’t want Nicole going back to Gilead I am hopeful she will stay in Canada. Then commander Blaine being a member of the Gilead crusade and never telling Nicole! I was a little shocked, but not really, when he said his new post was at the front, why else would a driver be going to the front!? I like June (Elizabeth Moss is a bad ass). I do think it was brave of her to record that recording for her husband and tell him that Nicole was conceived out of love and how she loved Nick! I just can’t. I love this show!
