Annual Eye Appt

This morning, Andrew and I both had eye appts. I was prepared to get dilated. I want my eyes to stay healthy. When I went back to the examining room, and they did the eye tests, etc. The doctor said, I had a slight prescription. I was a little bummed at first. I did notice I was struggling a bit with some of the tests with the different lenses. At one point, I couldn’t decide if 5 or 6 was sharper.

At the end, he told me that I am slightly near-sided and he thinks a small prescription lens and a pair of glasses would help make things a bit sharper, and help me better able to see at night. Sometimes at night, when I am driving there is a definite glare with the lights, and if it is raining. It is worse. I was sort of excited for classes, but kind of disappointed.

After he put the dilating drops in my eyes, I went out to look at glasses, while I waited for my pupils to dilate. The doctor explained to Drew the need for a small prescription and how a pair of glasses could a. help make things sharper to see far away and b. help with driving at night, and eliminate the glare. Drew didn’t seem to mind. Pitt has excellent insurance when it comes to vision. Plus he put aside extra money in the FSA.

When I was looking at glasses, I decided on the Burberry frames. I can’t wait to go get them. I was excited to pick them up. I have to wait 10 days!

After the eye appointment, we went home too relax and check on the dogs. Andrew’s car was back at the Autobody, and was going to be ready in the evening, so. I wanted to make sure I rested my eyes so I could drive when it was time to get his car.
