Wednesday, I was on my way to my nail appt, but my friend Leanne’s grandmother passed away. I had someone else do my nails at the shop. They are not shaped like how Leanne would shape them, but they will have to do until my next appt. I felt bad for Leanne. While I was at the shop, I got up and helped with the tanners. Leanne’s mom is like my second mother. I have been friends with Leanne for 15 years and I am there for her and her family the best I can be.
After my nail appt, I went to my parents and picked up my mom. We were going to eat at Mad Mex. My mom has never been there before, so I was glad to take her for her first time.
When we arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table. They didn’t look too busy, just didn’t have enough wait staff. I ordered a burrito and planned on taking half of it home. We order chips and salsa, because that is a staple at a Mexican restaurant. I wasn’t a huge fan of my experience there that night. I think Mad Mex is better if you are at the bar.
When we arrived back to my parents, I laid on the couch with my dogs for a bit. It was good to see them. After awhile, I went upstairs to get a shower and head to bed. I had to be up early for CMU tomorrow.
