After CMU today, I went to the cathedral and worked on some things for Assessment class. When we rehearsed our presentation last week it didn’t go so well. It was awkward and that is mainly because I forgot my script. I am getting to that point in the semester where I am just over it. I am ready for break.
Then I went to Drew’s office, he works in the cathedral until it was time to go tutor a baseball player. He wanted me to look over his final paper once more, and I was anxious to hear his professor’s thoughts on the suggestions I had for his paper.
Around 4:30pm, I went back downstairs to the first floor of the cathedral to meet up with the baseball player. The first thing I asked is what did his professor say about our modifications on your paper? He said, she liked them a lot and thought it was a lot better than what I had before. I was relieved. We talked about his conclusion and I answered any questions he may have had about his conclusion and then we were finished. I wished him luck and then I went back to Drew’s office.
When Drew finished he shut his computer down and we walked to the car, so we could park under Posvar. Drew had class this evening and I had a happy hour to attend.
When I arrived at Hemingway’s I was the first one, so I got some tables reserved in the back and waited for our class to arrive. Slowly but surely everyone piled in. We ended up taking over the back left of the restaurant. Drew came to the happy hour after his class finished up. We stayed for a while and mingled with our table, then we left to go home.
When we got home, it was about 10pm. I was ready for bed. One more class tomorrow and the semester is over!
