Yesterday, I got a call from my dentist. He wanted to know if I was able to come in at 11:30am to check my tooth. I told him I wasn’t in any more pain, the antibiotics helped, but I still wanted him to check to make sure it was okay.
When I arrived, I was the only one in the waiting room besides the receptionist. It was weird. This whole thing is weird. My dentist called me back, and he checked my tooth. he tapped on it, and it hurt a bit, but it wasn’t the tooth that I thought it was. He said, “Are you sure, it was the one you thought it was.” I said, “Yes, I was pretty sure, why?” he took some x-rays and actually showed me which tooth he thought it was. He said, I think either it is the one next to your crown. The filling maybe pushing down on that nerve, and causing some pain and discomfort. If that is the case, I am going to refer you to a specialist, or he is wondering if the tooth with the root canal is failing, but since I wasn’t in anymore pain he suggested I wait a week or two and see what happens. If I am still in pain, I am to give him a call and he can refer me, or give me some more antibiotics until the specialist can see me. I am not really all that worried about it right now. I just feel a little pressure no pain.
After the dentist, I went home. Andrew was out walking. I had a 12:30pm appointment with my writing tutor to discuss my seminar paper. The dentist was the big outing for the day.
