I met Mark in my graduate program at Pitt. My professor/advisor had a cookout at his house last summer. My husband Andrew and Mark talked and hung at the cookout and instantly became friends. Mark is such a sweet and genuine guy. He has the best personality.

Last semester I do not think I had any classes with him, but we kept in touch and he started a new job at CMU, where I was a graduate intern last semester. We hung out at the advising summit that CMU hosted right before COVID hit. We have class together this semester, as well.

Mark texted me and said he and Erin are getting marred on Sunday at 10am outside of the Starbucks at the waterfront. He said John Fetterman is officiating the wedding. He said he would love it if Andrew and I could attend the wedding. I was so happy for them. Of course, I wanted to instantly say yes, but I had to run it by Andrew. I know he does a ton of homework on Sundays for his MBA classes.
We decided that we absolutely had to make time for Mark and be there for him and Erin on their special day. We were so honored to be present. We finally got to meet Baby Kai! Andrew and I are so happy for the two of you and we wish you a lifetime of love and happiness.
