Hair Appt/Deadpool 2

This morning, I got up around 7:15am and got a shower. I got dressed and went downstairs. I made some coffee and ate some cereal. My mom got up and had some coffee with me. My dad was already downstairs in the living room sitting in his chair with the dogs. Things were already back to normal. I missed my husband. I am glad I get to see him today.

When I arrived at the salon, Kim was there and she was the only one there. It is always nice when she is the only one there and not the other ladies. I can’t stand the drama that this place produces. I told Kim I wanted to do the same thing with my hair, darker at the roots and light at the ends. I love the dark rooty look. When she put my color on, she asked all about the trip to Europe, and what it was like. We talked about the protesters and all that is happening in Pittsburgh. She kind of feels the same way I do.
After she dried my hair and styled it, I was out the door. I drove home. When I walked in, I had another cup of coffee and then started packing up my stuff. It was going to rain soon, and I wanted to get the car packed up before the rain hit, but that was going to happen.
My dad helped me load up my car, in between breaks in the rain. I could already feel it was going to be an off day. Drew was going to the chiropractor and was home by the time I walked in the door. When I walked into our house, he had just finished vacuuming and mostly everything was in its place. I was so glad to be home. Drew gave me the biggest hug and kiss. He missed me so much. It was nice to kind of step back and miss each other for a bit. It reminded me of when were dating, only seeing each other on the weekends.
After we brought my stuff inside, I made us avocado egg wraps with bacon. It is my new specialty. The weather was too terrible to go to the pool, so we just did housework and cleaned all day.
After breakfast, I went to Old Navy for the $1 flip flop sale.  I ended up leaving my phone in the car by accident (I swear). They were having a huge summer sale. I did buy 6 pairs of flip flops, 2 pair of comfy beach pants (one pair is green and the other is a blue and white stripe), a top, and a pair of PJ pants. I know I was only supposed to buy flip flops, but I hope this was okay.
When I got home, he was getting ready to go to the store. I told him how much I spent at Old Navy and he was okay with it, but that was it for a while. I understood. I only spent $68.00. I asked if he wanted me to go to the store with him. He said if I wanted to, but I didn’t have to. I put my old navy bag in the house and then got in the car with him. I hadn’t seen him in a while, and was looking forward to getting out, even if it was to the store. I didn’t want to be inside all day.
After the grocery store, we went home and unloaded the groceries and then we went to the mall. He wanted to stop in at LensCrafters to inquire about glasses. He wants a new pair of Sunglasses and eliminates his Ray Bans. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. I am so used to his Raybans. He tried on Oakley’s and Raybans. He wants something different, but I only like a few of them. I am a sucker for the classic black frame and black lens sunglasses look. Something simple and chic is what I like.
After lens crafters, we went to the Cadillac Ranch for a drink. He dropped me off at the front. I took a seat at the bar. I was going to sit outside, but I opted for inside instead. The bartender approached me and smiled. I smiled back, just trying to be friendly. I said, “Don’t worry I am not going to drink by myself.” he said, “I am not judging” and laughed a little.  I said, “Mama said, you never sit at a bar by yourself and drink.” He laughed again and asked me what he can get me? I smiled and said, “Vodka tonic, please.” he said, “what kind of vodka.” I said, “Anything but Smirnoff.” He laughed. I said, “Smirnoff and sunny D have terrible memories for me.” He laughed and so did another bartender, and she said, “Girl it was anything peach for me. I can’t drink anything peach to this day.” I laughed. He looked at me and said, “Goose? Stoli?” I said, “Goose, please.” He set the drink on the counter and I said, “Thank you, Sir.” He smiled and said, “Don’t call me Sir. You can call me Zach.” I smiled and said, “Thanks, Zach.”
Finally, Drew walked in and took a seat next to me. I said, “Hey babe, meet Zach our bartender.” He looked up at Zach and said, “Hey man.” He said, “Hey, what can I get you?” Drew said, “Crown on the rocks please.” There we were drinking together at a bar. Something we hadn’t done in so long. We told Zach we were going to see Dead Pool 2. He said, “You will love it. It is better than the first.” We were pretty excited to see it.
After our drink, we cashed out, said bye to Zach, and headed to the movie theater. It wasn’t all that packed. We have been prebuying our tickets lately with the reserved seating, so after we got our popcorn and drink, we walked up to the usher stand and he scanned our tickets.
On our way to the theater room, I passed the Halloween movie poster. I was so excited for that movie to come out. I wanted to take a selfie with the poster, perhaps on the way out, when we leave. We walked into the theater room, and found our seats and got settled.
After the movie started, a random strange couple took a seat next to us, but they turned out to be in the wrong seat. Theresa my friend, who works at Cinemark told them they were in the wrong seat and had to move. Their seats were in the very front row in, in row A, not row D. When the couple left, another couple took their seats next to us. The movie was alright, sure it had its funny parts, but I liked the first one better. The best is the opening credits. They aren’t your traditional opening credits. Typically opening  credits read “Executive Producer:: then the persona’s name.” Well in Dead Pool 2 they read, “Executive Producer: Who the hell cares?” etc.

Pumpkin Patch/Scarehouse with Anthony

Today, we were on our way to the chiro, and there was a line all the way down 79. It was the line for Soergels. I guess it was the start of Pumpkin weekend. The line was so long! We were late to the chiro and my adjustment felt so amazing. Drew was out of the woods with his back, but still couldn’t lift anything super heavy. I was happy to hear that he was better.

After the chiro, we went to Janoski’s farm and picked out our pumpkins. We got 2 big ones, and one small one. I am using the small one, as a part of the dip decoration for Leanne’s Halloween party. I was tired for some reason. We laid down and hung out on the couch, and watched some television and waited for Anthony to get off work. We were going to Scarehouse tonight with him.

Anthony came over around 9:00pm. We left and went to the zoo to park our car since they shuttle you over to the Scarehouse by a school bus. We got on the school bus, and Anthony started singing, “Memories..” We started laughing. I always laugh so hard when I am with Anthony. I was scared a little in the house, but not really. We were with this one couple, and they were walking so fast. We kind of missed everything. At one point, they told us to slow down and they shut the door on our face. I agree we were walking too fast.

At the end, I was ready for something different next year. On the bus back, we decided to go to a Haunted Hayride next year, and do something different. I love this season. It just goes by too fast. We stopped at Caddy Ranch for a drink and Anthony and I got caught up with each other on our lives. Andrew was getting tired I could tell. We didn’t get home until 2am. Once we got home, we went to bed. We were so tired.

Leanne’s Surprise Party

Today, was Leanne’s surprise party. Andrew and I went to the chiropractor first, then to the pool, and then got ready for Leanne’s surprise party at Caddy ranch. I had to go pick her up and bring her to the restaurant. I think she was surprised, even though Maci told her what was happening! She was surprised at the amount of people that showed up. I am glad she had a great time. I managed to get pictures of everyone, so she would have some updated family photos.   Andrew and I stayed until Dan and Leanne left, then we left. It was good to get out and celebrate her birthday. She has always been a very dear friend of mine.
