Andrew and I went to the gym yesterday, and they had every other machine roped off with a sign defining social distancing and trying to eliminate the spread of germs. I thought it was a good idea. There were very few people at the gym, but I tried to be considerate of my time on the machines, so others could use them. I think we are all in this together, and need to remember to be kind to one, another.
After the gym, in the late afternoon, Andrew and I decided to go to Primanti’s for green beer. Typically, one would not be able to find a parking space at this location, or a space at the bar. However, we were able to find both ,a parking spot and a space at the bar. We opted for one of the high top tables in the name of social distancing. We ordered our green beer and seemed to be the only ones who were drinking it. Until one girl at the bar was like, “hey, they have green beer!” It seemed as though everyone forgot that we should celebrating St. Patrick’s Day.
Recently, I found out my nationalities through a 23 and me test. I am British and Irish mostly. Also a mix of other nationalities, but mostly British and Irish, so I have to have at least one green beer. We ordered our sandwiches, and enjoyed just getting out for a bit. We were going to be inside for the most part of the week next week working from home. We still plan on trying to go to the gym, as long as it doesn’t close.
Also, I am over going to the store. It is barren anyways; no bread, no milk, no toilet paper, and no organic meat. We went this morning to see if they restocked their shelves. we bought fresh spinach and plan to freeze some, and some organic vegetables. We also managed to get the last bag of frozen organic chicken. It is madness.
I hope everyone is staying safe, using common sense and washing their hands!
